The house was behind a Vietnamese nail bar known as Sophia Nails.
Across the road from Sophia nails is a bus station that has a loud beeper.
The beeper sounds every time a bus leaves the bus station.

In some recordings the bus station beeper can be heard very feintly.

to how far away the noises were that were recorded.
To the left-hand side of Sophia Nails was a fast food shop.
To the right-hand side of the alley way was an empty semi-derelict property.
I believe that the recorded noises were coming from underneath the ground.
If the recorded noises were coming from the surrounding area, I would have expected to have recorded the voices of people talking in the shops.
There is a park to the rear of my former house.
