The former "Square" public house in Ammanford, on the corner
of Wind Street and College Street.
The landlord of the Square pub in Ammanford was
Matthew Coelho.
The pub was a limited company that was registered on 9th October 2013.
The company was dissolved on the 19/10/2018.
I first met Matthew Coelho in the car park behind the pub.
Around the time that Matthew Coelho became the landlord of the pub, a digger
made a large mud wall at the rear of the car park behind
the pub.
A steel pole was placed across the entrance to the car park and was padlocked in place.
At the time I thought it was an odd approach, his customers
would not be able to park their cars.
On another occasion, there was a blocked drain in College Street.
Matthew Coelho was asked by the sewage company if he could unlock
the barrier so their lorry could get to the drain and clear it out.
He would not grant them access to the car park and said that the ground was unstable
with lots of old pipes under the ground.
Matthew Coelho approached me in the rear of the car park and we had a chat, he was concerned
that I was going to tip rubbish there and I explained that I was sorting out my tools.
The conversation was amicable, but while we were talking two people
turned up in mobility scooters and started picking blackberries.
Matthew Coelho went and spoke with those two people and told them that it
was a private car park and they shouldn’t be there.
They explained that they had picked blackberries at the spot for years.
Matthew Coelho was adamant and the two people left.
At the time,
I thought the people were not doing any harm and I wondered why he had taken such a stance.
Shortly afterward, a steel shed appeared and was placed in the area where the
couple had been picking blackberries.
The steel shed was around 20 meters from the rear of my former property.
The following video was made to show the area that was cleared,
the back of the steel shed can be seen about halfway through this short video.
Laura Coelho was jailed for her part in a drugs gang that was stated to
have trafficked £200,000 of cocaine in Llanelli.
Laura Coelho´s
partner was Shaun Hearne, he was jailed for 8 years and 8 months in the case known as Operation Elegant.
In a different case, Shaun Hearne was described as
’’A Career crook’’
Hearne pleaded guilty to two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal,
in this article.
In May 2018, Wales online stated that
Shaun Leo Marshall Hearne, who is 23, is wanted as a suspect for a number of alleged driving offences and for recall to prison. in this article.
The name Shaun has been heard many times in the recordings.
I think it´s fair to point out that Shaun is a popular name.
In the next recording the man speaking mentions Blackpool.
There is a Blackpool in England and also one in Eire.
Jordan Parry was jailed in the same case,
there is a link to Laura Coelho´s brother Aaron,
and Jordan Parry.
I used to chat with Matthew Coelho when I saw him,
he was an amicable kind of a guy.
The last time I saw him he was different.
A man who was normally coherent and interesting,
could not keep up with our conversation.
He would talk, then look a bit vague,
then start talking about something different.
He didn´t appear to be drunk and I
asked him if he was okay, he said that he was but then started
talking about something else as he walked away from me back into the pub.
I have not seen Matthew Coelho since.
The name Matthew has been heard in the recordings.
On one occasion, I noticed Aaron Coelho
working in a charity shop in Llanelli,
I asked him what he was doing and he told me about a fight outside the square pub.
Aaron Coelho told me that he had been protecting
his sister and he was ordered to do unpaid work as a punishment.
We chatted for a while and I asked after his
dad Matthew Coelho as I had not seen him for a while.
Aaron Coelho told me that Matthew Coelho
was now living in Egypt.
I later heard that Aaron Coelho was working as a taxi driver in Burry Port.
