did they say

That user used the words

I could not find any records of mine shafts running underneath Ammanford Park.
This is untrue, I have never said that I thought ghosts could
be a reasonable explanation for the noises recorded.
I believe that the true cause of the noises is serious criminality.
The house was mortgage-free and had no loans attached to it,
it would be easy to have borrowed money if we had wanted to.
Our story has never been sold to a newspaper.
Our investigation has been self funded from the start.

The commenter is known to me, they were one of the people who went to the house to record noises.
The recorder was in a hole in a basement wall.
It was around 50 meters away from a tennis court that sits between the house and the park.
In other comments, it was stated that the noises came from the childrens splash pool in the park, but the splash pools are even further away.
